Corruption Prevention Policy

AB Giraitės Ginkluotės Gamykla (GGG) operates its business according to a corruption prevention policy that delineates the main principles and requirements pertaining to the corruption prevention area.

Core principles: to ensure the functioning of an effective corruption prevention policy, to reduce the risk of corruption manifestation, and to foster an intolerance of corruption among employees. This implies that the Company will not condone the abuse of power, nepotism, unethical behaviour, offering gifts in violation of the law, conflicts of interest, bribery, lobbying, influence peddling, or other corrupt and illegal practices or potential corrupt actions. The company encourages transparency, impartiality, legitimacy, and confidentiality and strives to be trusted by its shareholders, partners, investors, customers, and employees.

The aforementioned principles are publicly declared and implemented through the measures outlined below:

  • A systematic approach to corruption prevention, comprising a comprehensive action plan, is designed to minimise the likelihood of instances of corruption within GGG.

  • The zero-tolerance policy for corruption encompasses the anti-corruption code of conduct and the code of ethics within GGG.

  • The Company’s relevant internal legal acts, procedures, and standards serve to guarantee transparency and to minimise the probability of corruption.

The Company periodically engages in general or targeted group training on anti-corruption, organises themed discussions, conducts surveys, and subsequently implements initiatives in accordance with the results.

The dissemination of pertinent anti-corruption awareness-raising information is facilitated continuously by utilising the selected internal communication channels. In selected areas of the business, a risk assessment is conducted, and methods for risk management are determined. In order to achieve greater transparency, regulations are simplified, and local procedures and policies are subjected to review. In the context of decision-making, the majority or consensus model is employed.

REPORT AN INFRINGEMENT

In order to prevent corruption, the Company invites its employees, customers, and the public to report any illegitimate or potentially corrupt actions by AB Giraitės Ginkluotės Gamykla employees.

Information regarding the reporting of infringements and their administration in AB Giraitės Ginkluotės Gamykla (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is more broadly regulated in the Zero-Tolerance for Corruption policy and the attached/supplemental local documents.

In order to facilitate a more comprehensive assessment of the information provided, it is requested that a detailed description of the potential infringement be supplied, including its location, time of occurrence, any available information about the perpetrator, and the type of infringement.

Should any individual wish to report a suspected instance of corruption, you may do so by:

  • Contacting the company’s Trust Line on the following numbers: +370 612 40276; +370 37 302390;

  • Writing a free-format email to pranesimai@ggg-ammo.lt. It is managed by the employees responsible for preventing corruption: HR Manager, Assistant Director and Director;

  • writing a (non)anonymous report;

  • in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Law of the Republic of Lithuania, we recommend submitting reports using the standard infringement form (you can download the document from the list below) and sending it to the specified email above.

You can also report instances of corruption to external authorities such as the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Finance (pranesimai@finmin.lt), or by calling the general emergency number 112.

Based on their content, received reports will be investigated within the company by a competent person appointed through internal procedures, namely the Head of Personnel or, if necessary, by the assembled committee. It is imperative that the employee(s) whose actions are the subject of concern in the report refrain from participating in the infringement proceedings. The confidentiality of the provided personal data will be guaranteed under the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania. It will be processed solely for conducting an investigation.

Everyone has the right to provide information anonymously, i.e. without disclosing their name, surname and/or contact details. Nevertheless, should the whistleblower provide their contact details and express a desire to be informed, we will contact them, clarify the circumstances of the incident if necessary, and inform them of the results of the proceedings and the decisions made. Feedback is provided within a reasonable time frame, not exceeding 20 working days, through an accessible contact form named or requested by the whistleblower via telephone or email.

Please be aware that the laws of the Republic of Lithuania prohibit the cat of slander or the false accusing of another person of the commission of a crime. A person who has knowingly provided false information or has disclosed a state, service or professional secret shall be liable following the procedure established by law.

INFORMATION ON IDENTIFIED CASES OF CORRUPTION
To date, there has not yet been any law violation of a corrupt nature at AB Giraitės Ginkluotes Gamykla.
